healmeal dashboard

Pregnancy is the wrong time to be on a deficit. It is the right time to know roughly what you are eating, especially protein, iron, folate and choline. healmeal switches to a non-deficit mode, surfaces the nutrients clinicians care about, and never shows a calorie-deficit prompt.

For: Pregnant and post-partum users who want gentle tracking, not weight loss prompts.

What you get

No deficit mode

Calorie targets follow clinician-recommended ranges per trimester. The app will not nudge you below them.

Protein, iron, folate and choline visible

Four nutrients that matter during pregnancy. Surfaced on the day view.

Photo logging when you're tired

First-trimester fatigue is real. The camera works when typing into a search bar does not.

Hydration tracking

Pregnancy bumps the water target by 300 ml a day. healmeal adjusts and reminds without nagging.

FAQ

  • Is healmeal safe to use during pregnancy?

healmeal is a tracker, not a medical device. The app will not push you into a deficit. Always confirm calorie and nutrient targets with your doctor or midwife.

  • How many extra calories do I need?

Roughly 0 in the first trimester, 340 kcal extra in the second, and 450 kcal extra in the third for a singleton pregnancy. healmeal sets the increments automatically if you enter your due date.
